Godox SS-85 Overview

The Skirt Set for CS-85D Lantern Softbox from Godox is designed to limit and modify the very wide beam spread of the lantern. The creator can use 1, 2, 3, or all 4 of the skirts to create a light-to-dark ratio of light. When hung overhead with all four skirts, the lantern emits a soft circle of light on the floor of the set.

A skirt for more control: A detachable 4 section skirt, that you can attach anywhere on the lantern. By rolling the skirt up or down, you can reduce any unwanted light.

Omni-directional soft light: This spherical lantern is perfect for creating soft and even light that spreads in all directions, whether in a small space or a larger scene. With a 270° beam angle, the light is ideal for video recording, live streaming, and film making.

Outstanding lights for eyes: the soft light effect is brilliant; the light illuminates a centre point and highlights edges.  Layering is rich, the light quality is soft with non-glare, no shadow effect, standard colour temperature, and high colour saturation.

Bowens mount compatibility: Equipped with a bowens mount, the lantern is fully compatible with any bowens mount flash or continuous light, such as the Godox SL150 I, UL150, VL series LED lights, and so on.

Extremely fast set up: thanks to its simple and durable design, this softbox is a breeze to use. The lantern could be popped open or closed in merely few seconds, making it an ideal on the go solution.
