The JJC GM1438 sturdy thread adaptor has a 1/4 inch male thread on one side and on the other side features a 3/8 inch male thread. You can use the adapter so to put two accessories, have the appropriate internal thread, with each other in the industry. The outer edge of the adapter is knurled. This allows the fingers not easy to slip the adapter can be easier to screw in.
